Together we’re strong!
Those that give life to this country with their labour and the producers of all of this country’s values and beauty are gathering together for May Day.
Those that defend life and those that have no desire to die, suffer injury or become exhausted on the job are gathering together.
Those that defend their work, bread, sugar, creek, forest, field, country and future against the brutal capitalist order forced upon us are gathering together.
Those sentenced to work for poverty/hunger wages, those who say “we can’t make ends meet” and those that are unemployed are gathering together.
The struggles for labour, peace, democracy, equality, freedom, fraternity, secularism and justice are gathering together.
Those that defend their life, nature, intellect, and homeland against capital and the one-man regime are gathering together.
Women who declare “our labour, our bodies, and our identities are ours” against violence, discrimination, harassment, rape, and neglect are gathering together.
Those that proclaim “This is just the beginning,” “No to a one-man regime” and “Justice” are gathering together.
Those that defend an equal, free and fraternal life against the war are gathering together.
This country’s multitudes who live on the back of their toil and the true, neglected owners of this land are gathering together.
In the name of demonstrating that they are citizens and that the republic belongs to them, the millions who work in this country but whose rights have been ignored are gathering for unity, struggle, and solidarity.
Everyone, women and men, young and old, is preparing for this gathering.
The millions will not surrender to the regime of darkness that comes with the state of emergency.
The majority is gathering to create the better and brighter future that will be possible with labour.
The millions are gathering on the streets for May Day.
Together we are strong! Together we will win!
